Accident Cuts Phone Cable at Moravia Firm Yard
A 400 wire Moravia Telephone cable was severed near the McClurg Implement Co rear during a post hole digger demonstration. The cut disrupted all phones north of the site and 17 farm lines while workers from Centerville and Knoxville spliced and identified wires, completing repairs by Monday morning.

Shooting Stars A Success On Stage
The firemen sponsored show Shooting Stars drew solid crowds at the school house last Wednesday and Thursday. Miss Helen Paulsen of Berkley directed the talent night with Mary Rose Main at the piano. Colin Cridlebaugh led the tiny tot contest as king and Joyce McDonough as queen. Gold loving cups were awarded to the winners, with Irene Tadlock and R. C.
