Mrs. Nadine Dommer notes a string of social calls with Mr. and Mrs. Loren Walter at Dale Sievers, the Kelleys of Cabool hosting Laurence Dommer, Dallas Faber entertaining Ottumwa guests, and Janice Coltrain joining Junior Garden Club and Senior Citizens events as Leo Paxston visited N. L. Nazal- neighbors.
A Sunday afternoon near Plano featured Mr and Mrs Buell Taylor at the Robert Davidson home. Many locals enjoyed ice cream at the Dallas Faber home, including Mrs Jack Martin and the Don Klampe family. Several groups traveled for visits, reunions, and college plans with relatives at multiple homes and towns, including Viburnum Missouri Grand Island New York Gary Indiana and Sycamore Illinois.
Mrs Earl Swift reports a sequence of social visits in Franklin. Families including Eastlick, Calhoun, Swift, Kuhn, McFatridge, Derby, Ammons, Mack, Argo, and related relatives are shown visiting homes from Thursday through Sunday and sharing Sunday evenings and Tuesday afternoons together. Stella Argo attended the Argo reunion.
Mrs. Clifford Burger reports a busy period in Unionville with relatives visiting from Ottumwa Pittsburg and Wichita. Local families hosted and attended funerals rodeo results and military leave while stockholders met and trips to Washington D C Gulf Coast area were noted.

Minnie Moffatt visited Martha Hedgecock and Anna Marie Selix. Lloyd Bahner family from Quakertown Penn called at the Burkland home. Gordon Burkland at Lutheran Lakeside camp Spirit Lake. Alice Spring and Zola Saum visited Carl Whisler and Minnie Replogle. Lois and Kathy Cridlebaugh and Marie Weber visited Minnie.
