Ramblin's Moravia park was crowded on a sunny day as four reunions formed the scene. The Wilson clan led with about 100 in the shelter area, while the MHS class of 1936 dominated the northwest corner sharing tales of school days. Dr. Kaster of Afton staged the gathering by drafting letters that brought many attendees together.

Numerous dinner guests and overnight stays include Mrs. Pearl Swaim with connections to Zelma Hopkins and Ella Cridlebaugh, while Mary Shepard of Lusk Wyoming visited Pearl Swaim’s group. Grandparents host Danny Brooks in Ottumwa as Darrell Cooper family vacationed in northeast Iowa and Wisconsin Dells with relatives in Monmouth, St Maxine, and Ruth Johnson. Other entries mention travel to Akeley Minnesota for a ill relative, attendance at a funeral in Albia, and visits among the Firkins, Fox, and Wilson families. Mr and Mrs Frank Clodfelder of Laredo Missouri visited with her sister Mrs John Laws and guests from Billings Montana and Mt Pleasant and Centerville area. Numerous family members spent Sunday with kin near Seymour and Promise City while others hosted and attended a funeral in Centerville for Mrs Martha Miller at the Miller Wehrie funeral home with interment at Eaton cemetery west of Unionville.
Martha Miller longtime Unionville resident died prompting a Saturday funeral with many locals attending. Attendees included Lazelle Strunk Betty Lois and families, Brain and Carl Miller and families. Various local residents and visitors shared meals and greetings across multiple homes during the weekend and following days.
Mr and Mrs Harold Fenton and a family spent Sunday evening with Mr and Mrs Bill Downing. Mrs Herschel Kelly and girls and Mite John Kelly called on Mrs Lawrence Dommer Thursday afternoon. Mr and Mrs Harold Fenton were Sunday dinner guests of Mr and Mrs Otha Fenton. Sandy Fenton spent Sunday afternoon with Paula Cleaver.
Mrs Gladys Harsh hosts New Hope reunion at Moravia Park as Jay Wilson family and others attend. Chris and Steve Cloved accompany them home after a Sunday gathering. Nearby events include visits by Gene Long Beverly Phillips to John Main and various Sunday suppers and calls among local families.
Mr and Mrs Richard Tubaugh and Janiece spent two weeks vacationing in northern Michigan visiting Don Lamsteing in Eckerman crossing the Sea Canal and visiting John Grenfell in Detroit returning home Saturday evening Also mentioned Mr and Mrs Clarence Whitehead from the same household.
Mr and Mrs Friz Walter and families joined Tuesday evening to help Janiece Tubaugh celebrate her birthday. They enjoyed ice cream and cake. Mr and Mrs Robert Luse visited the Lester Strunk home Tuesday afternoon. Mary Strunk spent Sunday afternoon with Barbara Strunk. Mr and Mrs Percy Hughes were Sunday dinner guests at Gerald Burtons. Bob Strunk family were evening callers. Flora Phillips was a Tuesday morning caller. Gary Coltrain stayed Thursday night and Friday with grandma Williams. Mr and Mrs Raymond Williams and family were Sunday dinner guests with Nellie Williams. Mr and Mrs Claude Paris and Wayne were dinner guests of Mr and Mrs O B Peters in Center ville Tuesday.
