Rumleys Return From West Vacation After Bus Trip

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rumley of Udell Route One returned from a three week vacation visiting relatives across ten states. They traveled five to six thousand miles by bus along southern and western routes, stopping in Washington Oregon Idaho Montana and North Dakota. They saw the Grand Coulee Dam Dry Falls Jerome Bridge Twin Falls and irrigated crop areas in the Pacific Northwest and the upper plains.

Muirs Visit Moravia En Route to Northwest

The Rev. and Mrs. Warner Muir of Seattle are visiting Moravia with Mrs. W Morgan. The Rev. Muir, former vice president of the International Convention of the Christian Churches, spoke at the Buffalo meeting July 29 to August 4. They head back west after eight years as pastor of Seattle's First Christian Church. Mrs. Morgan plans to travel home with her daughter and son-in-law.

Community meeting at R. 5S. Faber home

Urbana Township residents gathered at Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Faber’s home Tuesday evening for a community meeting. County Superintendent Ethel Roberts discussed the new school laws while 4-H girls presented a demonstration. Refreshments were served.
