Moravia Iowa council met July 21 1969 in adjourned regular session at the Town Hall to consider issuing 35000 funding bonds to fund indebt ness evidenced by warrants and accrued interest. Mayor Rex Angel and councilmen John Spencer Marvin Ellison Paul Wilson and John H Sharp attended. Duane Steenhoek was absent. The council investigated notice of the proposed action for issuing the funding bonds.

Moravia approves issuance of funding bonds in 1969
Moravia Iowa council in special session adopt an issued resolution to provide for the issuance of 35000 funding bonds. The plan includes tax levies from 1969 to 1981 to pay interest and principal with sinking funds. The resolution becomes irrepealable until debt discharged and a certified copy filed with the county auditor.
