Local youths display and win prizes at the Monroe County 4-H and FFA fair in Albia with 128 entries in the baby beef show. Donald Carr wins grand champion baby beef, an Angus, with Brad Peterson’s Charolais as reserve. Henry Bert Rinehart, born June 6 1899 near Iconium Iowa, died July 28 1969 at Davis County hospital Bloomfield aged 70, after a brief illness. He married Hazel Hiner November 30 1924 and had three children George Gerald and Mary Lou. He farmed near Iconium then retired to Albia and joined Iconium United Methodist Church. Survived by wife Hazel three children George Gerald and Mary Lou six grandchildren and many relatives. Funeral July 31 1969 at Iconium United Methodist Church with Rev L B Deedrick. Burial in Iconium cemetery.
