Monday gatherings include Randy and Mrs Junior Spencer attendance at a funeral notice. Harold Hawk and Mrs attended the SCA meeting at Moraine community center Monday evening. Dallas Faber hosted supper and overnight guests Max McAninch Ricky Long and John Russell. Joan Hawk visited Lorain Fowler for a birthday supper and overnight stay. Virginia Strong spent Sunday evening with Sandra Pierson.
Franklin and Mrs Earl Swift host and visit with relatives and friends over the weekend. A series of Sunday dinners and gatherings include the Ammons, Calhoun, Long, Turn er, Eastlick, Kline, Kellogg and other families with minor mentions of a broken hand and Bible school teachers meeting midweek. Edward McDonald returned to work near Guthrie Center after a weekend at home.
A special meeting of the Town Council was held at 7 PM on April 24 1981 with most members present except Raymond Doherty. The council discussed a proposed ordinance about installation and maintenance of culverts under parkways along streets, requiring ten inch steel tubing installed by property owners. M K Blackman and Harold Burton served as clerks. Mayor Mi proposed the motion, Carl Blal seconded, and all present members adopted the ordinance for publication in Moravia Union.
Mrs Earl Swift and Mrs Beryl Brown papered Saturday for Mrs Duane Wilson. Family spent Thursday evening at Earl Swifts. Mr and Mrs Gary Perry and Julia were Sunday visitors at Larry Derbys. Joh Martin spent Sunday evening at Lloyd Ammons. Mr and Mrs Larry Derby and Maureen visited her parents Mr and Mrs Emery Hiatt Wednesday Emmett and Monte Derby spent Saturday at Larry Derbys. Mr and Mrs Kenneth Brown Michelle and Mike spent Tuesday evening at Earl Swifts.
