Hiattsville greets J C Neff back in action as locals share weekend visits. Miss Wilda Hiatt of Moravia stays with relatives, while several families like the Hiatts and Cunards gather at various homes for Sunday evenings and dinners. Roland Hiatt Davis welcomed a baby boy to the Davis family, all reported doing well.
Moravia area reports Edvie Callen concludes a New Hope term with a woods picnic. Birthday dinners honor Bert Meadows, Alfred Carlson, Rolla Johnson, and Mrs Belle Hellyer. Visits from J H Allred’s Redfield Review and Carl Tomlin contribute to a busy social week with multiple neighbor gatherings and family outings.
Unionville community notes list visits and travels including Viola Doud returning to Des Moines after vacation, Paul Hughes from Clarence with Lena Hughes, Evelyn Proctor's granddaughter recovering in St Joseph’s hospital, and various social events. Mrs Wade Lockmen ill at Fred Callen home. Ben Jones aided Jeff Patrick with hay Monday.
Hazel College members John Winfield and family and Mrs Ed Newton of Waukee spent Saturday at Foster. Herman Johnson and family spent many afternoons at the E C Caster home. Ed Johnson and family visited Sunday with Mrs Lawrence at Thia. Andy Madison of Waukee spent the weekend with his family at Foster. Dorthea and Donald Darby attended church in Moravia Sunday morning. Jimmie VanDorin and family spent Sunday at the Willie VanDorin home. Mrs Andy Hiatt and Mrs W Hiatt and son of Melcher spent Sunday with relatives at Foster. Mr and Mrs Cy Jones and daughter Clella and Kenneth Free spent Sunday at the B G Sincox home. Afternoon callers were aird Neff and family and Mr and Mrs Grant Sintox.
