Unimportant Cogitations By Inez Faber
The writer muses on a slow Saturday afternoon and the Monday rush. She notes fruit blossoms, canned peaches, and different sugar levels, then details five new kittens with colorful names and references to radio characters. She reflects on weather forecasts and the chance of rain, concluding to wait and see.

Moravia Union notes and local history items
Observations note Lewis Rouse, a long time reader of The Union, and Do MacFatridge’s Moravia history data on Moravia’s early land ownership. The town was surveyed June 27, 1851 with 72 original lots. A flower garden contest was rejected due to funds, a grade operetta may become an annual Moravia event, and several citizens renewed subscriptions to The Union.
