The Moravia-Iconium road faces repeated fires at local farms. Wm. French’s barn burned in a major blaze on the J. E. King farm, following prior home damage and hay fire recurrences. Gene Huff’s tractor fire caused costly damage, and John Huff was injured by an accidental hand shooting. A former Turner farm house also burned years ago on land owned by Dwight Glick.
