Mrs. Bruce Crew and Mrs. Fuller visited Fairfield and Waterloo relatives. Several families, including Dudleys, Mayes, and Barrickman, visited or hosted at the Burkland home. Attendees include Olive Tarbell, Nadine Wood, Genevie Kaling, Bessie Donovan, Ivan Harsh, Tisha Lathen and family, Daryl Tarbell, Frank Kent, Ivyl Tarbell, and several others. Activities span booster clubs, church events, tea, and an auxiliary convention in Des Moines.
Max spent Wednesday evening with Mr and Mrs Nelson Ballanger and family. Mr and Mrs Ivan Harsh spent Tuesday afternoon with Marion Watts at Melrose.
Mrs Theo Miller reports social visits in Coulson including Herb Boblenz Ernest West and Lute Hiatt gatherings. Multiple residents visited Centerville Fairfield Moravia and Plano were guests at homes and churches. Stanley party held at Louise Mikels home with several ladies in attendance.
Attendance at Sunday School reached 15 as Griffinsville N Bend plans to shingle the church roof weather permitting. Mr and Mrs Ray Buck and Oma Teater visited the Lynn Lemley home Monday afternoon.
Flossie Walker visited Fred and Russell Shepards Thursday evening. Jimmie Beaty and family spent Sunday at Waterloo at the home of her sister, Bill Fite's. Lowell Shepard and family spent Saturday and Sunday at Wendell's to meet their new adopted grandson Patrick Lowell. Ryman McPanel visited Russell Shepards Sunday afternoon. Evening callers included Glen McNair, Mansel Tarbell, Geo Lains, Dean Lain and family visited Mr and Mrs Geo Lain. Merrill Shepard and Stewart called at Lowell Shepard's Sunday evening. Keith Lain attended PTO at Mystic school Monday.
Mrs Leola Lain cared for the children while Mr and Mrs Lynn Lemley were Sunday dinner guests of Merl Adams. Mr and Mrs Harold Huff visited the Gene Huff home Sunday afternoon.
