The Central Reformed Church in Oskaloosa hosted the marriage of Aleatha Kay Van Essen and Johnny Dean Huff on Saturday March 7. Rev Steven Veldhuis officiated. bridesmaids and groomsmen wore formal gowns and tuxedos, and a six tiered cake with a Fountain of Love centerpiece marked the reception. The couple, both with Iowa ties, will live in Washington after a short wedding trip.
Burdett Cox and Nyle Cox visited Dale Cox and family for Saturday supper. Marvin Wright and Kenneth Wright enlisted Nyle Cox for Thursday work and Nyle attended as dinner guest. Burdett and Nyle dropped by Mae Harper’s Saturday morning, Andy Andrews visited Jack Hoffman Sunday morning, and Burdett dined with Dale Cox and Kevin Monday. Nyle and Kenneth aided Bill Underwood Saturday afternoon while Nyle was ill and missed school Monday and Tuesday.
