Nellie Williams attended the funeral of Mrs. A. G. Turner last Tuesday afternoon. Relatives and friends from Albia Manitou Falls and Des Moines joined gatherings, church services, and a wedding at the E U B church in Des Moines. Families visited, shared meals, and noted Easter Sunday activities with numerous Tubaugh and Strunk family members.
Mrs John Brown of Seymour spent Friday night and Saturday with daughter Mrs Richard Ritter. Mr Brown and son Jerry and Larry Holmes of Promise City were Saturday callers. Sunday School attendance was reported despite rain. Mr and Mrs Raymond Williams and children of Centerville visited. Ken Coltrain and family joined Mrs Nellie Williams on Sunday. Des Moines guests unable to attend due to Denny's mumps. Ray Tubaugh and family of Moravia were Sunday guests of Lee TadJock and Kenny.
Mr and Mrs Robert Jennings visited Des Moines and returned Monday. Donna and Terry Rose from Des Moines stayed at the Dell Hellyer home. Monnie Rose Leroy Wycoff families and Dell Hellyer hosted guests Sunday. Don Sheldon wedding in Ottumwa drew Gary as usher. Easter cantata at Iconium Church attended by several locals. Various locals visited, hosted, and joined gatherings across Ottumwa Des Moines Glenwood Indianola and Abia.
Sunday dinner guests join the Fenton and Landgrebe households while Barbara Christy celebrates her third birthday. Relatives and friends from Christy, Rinehart, Lippert, and Landgrebe families visit Ottumwa and nearby farms, with multiple stops at Aubrey Christy and Doyle Christy homes.
