Mr and Mrs John W Wilson left for Caldwell Idaho to visit Mrs Wilsons parents Mr and Mrs Grant Kiser. Mrs Louisa McPherson closed her home for summer and went to Weiner Ark to spend time with her children Mrs Will Henley and Chester McPherson. Tom Williams is in serious condition with heart failure. T E Lawrence left for St Joseph La and Mrs Lawrence joined him to visit daughter Mrs F A Likely in Indianapolis. Helen Vincent and Waldo Shufflebarger visited grandparents J A Shufflebarger. J W Farmer has bladder and kidney troubles and has been very sick. For Rent three rooms over the First National Bank.

India napolis wedding joins Laflin and Andrews in Indianapolis

E E Harvey and family joined Mrs Anna Laflin in Indianapolis for the wedding to Frederick J Andrews of Chicago held at the Burdge home. About fifty guests attended this pink and white affair with music by Vera Verburg J Q Richardson and Mrs Harry Schleicher. The Rev E P Jewett presided. Mr. and Mrs Andrews departed for Chicago at 3 15 PM to begin their married life.

The school board announced three new teachers for the next year. Grace Kincaid of Orleans will teach 5th grade replacing Nellie Glover who resigned. Emmett Simpson of Salem takes manual training after Otto N Yeager resigned to Gary Indiana. Thurza C Parker of Terre Haute will teach English succeeding Kathleen Lindley who resigned.

Mooresville to Levy One Mill Tax for Public Library

An ordinance by the Mooresville Town Board levies a tax of one mill on property value to establish increase and maintain a public library open to all residents. The tax is to be collected with other town taxes. Adopted May 21, 1912, with Rees Coster as president and Pertra L. Sink as town clerk.
