Aging Lady Insured In Auto Crash Near Seafield Bridge
An accident Sunday near the Seafield bridge involved John Sinks and his mother Mrs. Mary Sinks of Carroll County in a collision with a southbound car carrying Robert Jones of Idaville and Mrs. Lavina Million. Mrs Million, elderly, suffered a forehead cut and bruises. others were bruised but unhurt. The Sinks party had visited West Point Township. the other occupants were strangers. The eastbound Sinks car veered to avoid the other vehicle but still struck it, sending the Sinks car over a six-foot abutment. The front lodged in mud, rear wheels atop the abutment, bumper damaged. All escaped serious injury.

Frank Scipio suffered a severe leg injury last Friday while pulling a hedge at his brother O A Scipio’s home. A capstan sweep struck below the knee, breaking the leg in two places.
