Ferrells sue railroad over 1920 crossing crash damages
Charles and Mary Grace Ferrell sue the Chicago Indianapolis and Louisville Railway Co in White Circuit Court seeking 1560 in three suits for injuries from a December 17 1920 crossing collision at Perry street Lafayette. Mrs Ferrell claims 16000 for severe injuries and permanent disability while Mr Ferrell seeks 5000 for loss of his wife's services. The couple were in a two passenger Chevrolet when struck by an engine and coal car. the car was badly damaged and Mrs Ferrell suffered broken ribs and chest injuries leading to pneumonia and illness. They reside northeast of Fields Corner.

Death of Jert Good at Lake Cicott
Jert Good died of erysipelas last Saturday at the home of Chas Million near Lake Cicott. He is survived by his brother Cliff Good and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday at the church conducted by Rev Heeter with the Masonic lodge in charge. Interment followed in the Great Eastern cemetery south of town.

Brother of Hebron man dies in oil truck wreck
Glen Wood received a telegram last Wednesday announcing the death of his brother Park Wood of Hebron who was killed by a train while driving an oil truck. He was hurled more than one hundred feet and most bones in his body were broken. Mr and Mrs Wood traveled to Hebron for the funeral held Saturday afternoon.
