Monticello Council approves list of city claims
In Monticello on Oct 5 1936 the city council met with all members and adopted a resolution to pay numerous city claims including postmaster stamps labor meters repairing gas and oil companies newspapers and salaries. The charges cover supplies labor and services from local firms and individuals and the meeting adjourned with mayor F D McLaughlin and city clerk Ray Ent ernacht presiding.
