Fire at Monticello area farm causes heavy loss
At the Paul Hugh farm seven miles west of Monticello a Monday afternoon blaze caused estimated damage over 8 000 dollars. The granary silo corn dryer tractor and 1 500 bushels of corn plus two tons of other feed were lost. Fire started near the tractor and firemen kept vigil until 5 30 p.m. Insurance covers the loss.
