Prairie Hill 4-H Club Notes Banquet Auction and Meeting
The Prairie Hill Be Natural 4-H club held a mother daughter banquet at Grill Cafe Anamosa May 10 with Betty Pillard and Marilyn Holub on decorating and Pillard and Alice Goodken in charge of entertainment. A silent auction was approved for May 24 at Betty Jean and Joan Pillard’s home open 8:30 to 9 p.m. Demonstration on Making Different Kinds of Rolls given by Alice Goodken. May 5 meeting at the Goodkens home featured Betty Pillard on leftovers into an interesting meal. Eleven members offered roll call on A Money Saving Dish. Three mothers, three leaders and two guests attended. A trip planned for June 11 from Francis Trumm farm to Carl Rieniers farm ending with a picnic. Softball slated for afternoon. Richland Wildcats delegate Jerry Schneiter and campaign speaker Ronnie Burrichter named. Leaders discussed Brucellosis. Refreshments served by Mrs Rieniers.
