Ray Rieniets was chosen president of Delta Sigma Delta, local National Honor Society Chapter, at a meeting held last Thursday evening. Susan Stuhler was elected vice president, Donna McCurdy secretary treasurer, and Margaret Ann Zimmerman to handle the scrap book and publicity for the coming year. Max Schrader presided, Irma Schoon assisted as secretary treasurer. Miss Amney Wood and Mrs. Caryl Ross are sponsors of this society.
Senior class presents The Willow and I Friday night at 8 in the high school auditorium under dramatics instructor Mrs Bess Greenley. The play follows two sisters in 1900 with a love triangle ending in tragedy and a twist of time. Cast includes Mara Sutro Irma Schoon, Bessie Sutro, Millie Sutro and others. Admission 45 cents adults 30 cents students 20 cents children. Matinee at 2 p m Thursday.
Monti High Student Council aired on WMT Friday May 10 at 4 30 PM. Participants included President Gene Kuehl Carol Caspers Irma Schoon and Bob Otten. The script covered safety patrol Amosoma assembly and lunch recreation plans.
