Twelve overseas boxes prepared by Junior Red Cross workers were packed for St. Louis and shipped to military hospitals and relief centers. Items included slippers bags and ice bag covers for hospital use, gift items for Des Moines and Cheyenne hospitals, 156 library cards, 226 Easter cards, and a toy and art supply box for Ottumwa Children’s Home.
