Missing Santa suit recovered after neighbor arrest
The Santa suit owned by the Greater Monticello Committee was recovered Sunday when it appeared at GMC President Dave Miller's home. Police Chief John Cook arrested Ralph Petersen, the neighbor, after ransom notes and a burglary stretch. All charges were dropped as Petersen returned the suit and Miller expressed relief.
