Memorial Day Observance and Community Notes Enhance Scotch Grove
Memorial day services in Scotch Grove featured a keynote address on reverence for freedom. The Monticello Legion drill team and VFW, a Monticello high school band, soloist Mrs. Galen Helgens, and pianist Mrs. Ronald Paulsen attended. Community events include Bible school activities, Rural Women’s Day in Anamosa, local 4-H tour plans, club meetings, graduations, and multiple family visits across Anamosa Scotch Grove and Monticello areas.
