Memorial Services Held at Cemetery Mayflower Cemetery
Memorial services were held Thursday at 10 am with flag raising by Roger McCreight and the school band led by David Emde. Rev. Norman Tosten offered invocation and benediction as the band and Auxiliary sang. W J Maxheim of Clinton spoke as a candidate for department commander. rifle salute and taps followed. A noon Legion club dinner, no pavilion dance due to rain, and many out‑of‑town attendees decorating graves.
