Center Junction Women Host Talks and Photos
The Center Junction Women’s club met February 22 at Mrs. Les Balster’s home with co-hostess Mrs. Ray Naylor. Talks on Women In Religion were given by Mrs. John Moehl and Mrs. Boyd Christensen. Members took self photos and guessed identities. Harp performances by Gladys McNeilly and others were noted, including Otto Baganz’s concert at St Matthew church Monticello. The harp was once shown at Chicago World’s Fair and bought for $10,000. Center Junction boys’ teams won both games against Onslow 37-20 and 31-28 on February 14, and beat Olin 44-22 with B team 16-12 on February 16.
