The Hopkinton Co operative creamery association met Saturday at the school gymnasium with a capacity crowd. George Reinbold of Iowa State University spoke. Bob and Bobby Thomas performed guitar and singing. New directors for three years include William Beitz Clarence Smith and Mark Beckman. Leon White elected president Nick Lahr vice president and Roman Welter secretary and manager.

Kindergarten Round-up Set at Elementary School
Kindergarten Round-up will be held Thursday Feb 27 from 9 30 to 11 30 a m at the elementary building for children five years old on or before Oct 15 1962. The session guides next year’s eligible enrollees at Oxford Jct. Home Arts club had nine members and three guests on Feb 7 with prize winner Mrs Grace Burian. Several local residents noted visits and birthdays while students toured the American Institute of Business in Davenport. The Wapsie Post American Legion and its Auxiliary reported meetings Feb 8 and Feb 6 and discussed dances, social events, and departmental reports.
