Robert E. Balster formerly of Monticello is named director of foundation relations at Albion College Michigan. He will also continue as college editor a role he began in 1963. He will develop and maintain a program of support from general philanthropic foundations. Balster’s prior work includes editing and advertising management at General Motors Shell and Pan American Airways. He holds a BA from the University of Iowa and an MA from Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism with further graduate work at Michigan State University.
