Special election ballots in Jones and surrounding counties
Voters in 12 precincts of Jones county will choose state senator from District 11 and state representative from District 22 on Tuesday December 28. Absentee voting is available at the county office in Anamosa until December 27 with courthouse closure December 24. Ballot includes Steve Bisenius versus Maurice Hennessey for Senate and Nancy Shimanek versus Leonard Kula for House. Polls open 7 am to 9 pm at designated Jones county polling places.
