Monticello Council approves water ordinances and bonds
The Monticello city council held a 5 p.m. special meeting Monday November 29 approving two water service rate and regulation ordinances and adopting a 340000 revenue bond for water works improvements. The Lounge beer and liquor permit was granted to James L Reed owner Manchester. Reed recently purchased Monti Tap from Steve Wells with Gary Bessey named manager. Present were Mayor Janet Fraser City Attorney A N Strittmatter Assistant City Clerk Sue Burrichter City Co-ordinator Jack Appleby and councilmen Ray Kleinow Al Westhoff Jack Schmidt Bernie Barker and Ron Barney George Eastburn was absent.
