Wyoming High School Band Spring Concert Tuesday Night

Wyoming high school band will present the spring concert Tuesday evening April 22 at 8 o'clock in the gym. Admission is free. Soloists and groups are winners of first and second division ratings at the pre-state Monticello contest under Richard Larson.

Onslow Woman Sadie French Dies in Montana

Relatives report the death of 71 year old Mrs Sadie French at her Montana home. She was the eldest daughter of Isaac and Jane French pioneers of the community. Survived by two children with husband Carl French of Monticello and a son who died by drowning. Five sisters and two brothers also survive. Names listed: Mrs Mary Koch, Mrs Hilah Hutton, Mrs Cora Hutton, Mrs Margaret Livingstone of Wyoming, Mrs Frances Adams of Ames, Clifford French of Chicago, George French of Onslow.

Waggoner Celebrates Eleventh Birthday at Home

Waggoner celebrated her eleventh birthday Friday at home with friends including Donna Bonney Joan Buck Ruth Fadley Shirley Harms Delores Luckstead Berna Deane Mead and Janet Sue Waggoner. A six o'clock dinner was served by Norma’s mother Mrs Harold Waggoner and gifts were many. Weekend guests included Charles Hickman and Jackie Lee of Knox ville and John Gerdes and daughters Judy Rae and Shery Ann. Mrs John Kennedy travels to Cedar Rapids for her ill brother Will Dennison and Mrs Dennison is hospitalized for surgery.
