Tech Sgt Leroy H Wolf received a medical discharge after serving in the medical corps on the hospital ship Ernest Hinds and earning three bronze stars for Mediterranean invasions. Marvin Wolf an electrician’s mate first class served in Iwo Jima and sent home a Nagasaki fragment from Mt Subachi. John Wolf a motor machinist’s mate second class spent ten months overseas in the Pacific including Hawaii the Marshall Islands Truk and invasions of the Mari anas and Guam. Lewis Terlisner seaman second class RM visited with Grace Wolf and their baby son and is due back at his base on the 19th after serving on a destroyer near Cuba.
