The Monticello high school drama department presents a mystery comedy titled Watch out who done and who’s doing it killing people. Cast includes Scott Evers Kathy Welter Chip Kurt and Sheralyn Miller. Performances on April 8 and 9.
Monticello High School announces its spring production Ten Little Indians by Agatha Christie. The mystery comedy runs April 8 and 9 at 8 p.m. in the high school auditorium with a cast including Rogers Tom Adams and Mrs Rogers Lisa Abele among others.
March births include Aleah Fern Heiken in Randle Washington and Bridget Dorothy Goldsmith in Waterloo with listed grandparents. Hospital notes list admissions at Monticello and surrounding towns, followed by dismissals, marriage licenses, new vehicles, and building permit actions across Monticello, Anamosa, Olin, and surrounding communities.
Paul D. Fulwider 25 Anamosa suffered major injuries Sunday March 28 at 10 30 am when his Honda left X40 Morley road to strike a field embankment and fence. Nineteen speeding charges and other cases were processed in Jones county magistrate court this past week. Notable fines include John W. Haigh 52 dollars and Bernard L. Bohlken 38 dollars, with numerous others from Anamosa Maquoketa Cedar Rapids and beyond. Small claims totals and a juvenile case for concealed weapon were also recorded along with various traffic violations.
