Superintendent Frank Lee says light plant completion is near and lights may resume between the 10th and 15th with Saturday night as a target. Workers install the switch board while Montezuma Machine Works connects boilers to engines. steam expected in a day or two. The new equipment embodies the latest patterns and promises one of the state’s best lighted plants, urging public support to ensure profitability.

Tea Party at Oldshue Home Hosts Pink Roses

Miss Marie McCord Hosts Five Aundred Luncheon

Bad Fall Leaves Bloomingdale Man Injured On Scaffold

Charles Hunt of Bloomingdale was brought to his sister Mrs Emma Baird after a scaffold failed. He fell fifteen feet to hard ground sustaining broken bones in his left arm and serious head and hip bruises. He was unconscious for hours but improving. He is an Oddfellow and Mason and is being cared for by the order’s members.
