W B Murphy spent part of last week in Indianapolis buying holiday goods for his three stores.
Mr and Mrs Sam Skeeters and Bert Skeeters with their daughter spent a pleasant day with Mr and Mrs James Payne and their son Robert near Paris Illinois on Sunday. In the afternoon they enjoyed a fine radio concert from Davenport Iowa, the receiver installed in the Payne home by Westinghouse Co for testing at that location.
Claude Kent was in Terre Haute on business on Monday. Multiple residents visited Terre Haute and Clinton shops Saturday. Mrs Grover Rohr and children visited her mother at West Union Saturday night and Sunday. The Monday club met hostess Mrs R L Dooley for a delightful gathering.
