Johnston Dies Saturday Lifelong Montezuma Banker and Citizen
John Emmet Johnston longtime Montezuma resident and bank director died Friday night after a four month illness. Survived by wife, son Ralph W Johnston and daughter Marie Louise Brown, with brother William W Johnston. Funeral Monday at 2 pm in his home with burial at Oakland Cemetery. Johnston helped found the First National Bank of Montezuma in 1904 and served as officer and director.
