George Beck collapsed while driving north of Alf DeMott's place Tuesday around 2 pm. He had felt unwell a week and died before a physician arrived. Recently moved from Newport, he worked for Hollowell Clay works. Burial was Thursday at the M E Church with J C C F lodge involvement.

Prosecutor Sunkle Hunts the Blind Tiger in Vermillion
Dana prosecutor G D Sunkle gains notoriety for raiding dens of the so named Blind Tiger in Vermillion County. Saturday night he closed Hillsdale den taking a parent and about a dozen cubs while two cubs escaped to the Wabash jungles. He has visited several localities and shut several dens.
