The Minstrel Rehearsals For Local Show At High School

Rehearsals for a big local minstrel show at the High School Auditorium next Wednesday March 1 progress well. The program promises high quality with music jokes and stunts. Bandits Identified in January Bank Robbery

Three Indianapolis men James Brennan 28 J J McNamara 22 and Eugene Woodard 29 are identified as the January First National Bank robbers. Identifications came from Mrs Dayke Scott who saw them on the day of the crime and from Mrs Hann who picked Brennan out in Indianapolis. Brennan is in Rockville awaiting trial while all three are in Marion County Jail.

Miner Train Wreck Near Hillsdale Injures Fifty

A miners train en route to a coal mine near Dana derailed Tuesday at 6 15 am west of Hillsdale by the Davis home. Fifty passengers escaped with only scratches and a severe shaking. The tender jumped the track and the engine turned over as the backward running train arrived at the mine.

James Cosby is gravely ill with death expected soon. Born to Mr and Mrs Clay Adams a daughter on February 19. To Mr and Mrs Herman Lear, a daughter.
