Park Addition Expands Turkey Run State Park to 490 Acres
The state bought 181 adjacent acres from Hoosier Veneer Co, east of Turkey Run, for 9733.40 dollars at 55 per acre. Funded from the Governor's emergency reserve, the purchase enlarges the park to near 490 acres and reaches Rockville State Road. Richard Lieber plans a road through the new tract to the hotel, with work to start immediately.
