James B Elliott obituary notes life in Indiana and four sons

James Buchannan Elliott born October 24 1858 near Beanville New York died August 1 1923 age 64 years 9 months and 8 days after two weeks illness. He lived much of his life in Parke county Indiana near Montezuma and leaves Mary Butler Phillips a half sister in California and sisters in law Clara and Melissa Elliott with their children. Funeral services were held at the home of Clara Elliott conducted by Rev Whitson with funeral arrangements by O L Brown and Son.

Sarah M Plaster Dies After Illness at Montezuma Home

Mrs. Sarah M Skeeters Plaster died at her niece Mrs. John Ingerton's home after several months illness. Funeral Sunday conducted by Rev J C Whitson. burial in Arabia cemetery. She was born November 25 187? in Parke County Indiana and died August 3 1923 at age 69. She married John Plaster and had two children Wm Plaster and Mrs Alice Mathas. husband and children preceded her in death. She lived with brother Samuel Skeeters and remained active in First Methodist Church Montezuma. She leaves a brother and a niece plus many friends.

Mr and Mrs Samuel Skeeters thank neighbors and friends for help and kindness at the death and burial of their beloved sister and aunt, noting appreciation for the minister singers pallbearers and undertakers.

New Residence Underway for Mr and Mrs Pawley

Work began Monday on a new home for Mr and Mrs W B Pawley on their vacant east lot. Mrs John White of Glinton died Saturday from heart trouble. Burial was Monday at Riverside cemetery. She leaves a husband two children her mother and four sisters with Mrs Wm Sherrill of West Union as a sister.
