Farmer's Wife program at Monroe United Methodist Church

The Friends In Faith Ministry hosts author Laurie Aaron Hird on Aug 28 at 1 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall 2227 4th St Monroe. Genealogical Workshop Set for September 7 in Monroe

A Green County Genealogical Society workshop will be held Saturday September 7 at Monroe Clinic Founders Hall. It runs from 8:30 a.m. to about 3:30 p.m. with sessions on Beginning Your Family History Research and more. School opens September 3 in Darlington district

Darlington Community School District will start Tuesday September 3 with students reporting at 7 55 a.m. Bus routes run as usual and city pickups occur at the swimming pool parking lot municipal building or Al's Trucking.
