Islamorada Fla Oct 15 A year long effort to rehabilitate a 1 1 mile stretch of the Florida Keys after the Labor Day hurricane of 1935 is complete. The Federal Emergency Relief Administration and Red Cross built 29 concrete and 12 frame houses and repaired 28 others, with roads rebuilt in the storm zone. 525 residents and veterans died in the storm.
