First Fatality Reported in Minnesota Farming Strike
A father and his son Ole and Leonard Anderson were jailed at Granite Falls after the slaying of farmer-picket Nordah Peterson 25 near Canby Minnesota. The shooting occurred as farmers pressed highway pickets to raise prices. Deputy Snortum said Peterson died instantly and the license number was obtained for arrests.
