Local aviators escape as ship falls 800 feet

Bag Factory to Rise in Bastrop Near Paper Mill
A new paper bag manufacturing plant costing about three quarters of a million dollars will be built in Bastrop Louisiana. Negro prowler shot after exciting chase in city

Negro Woman Fatally Burned in Auto Blast
In Moss Bluff area north of Lake Charles the incident began when Kink Ryan asked to inspect a gasoline tank at Burnett station to measure fuel. Sarah Stillman, one of four women riding with him, died at St Patrick's Sanitarium from burns after gas fumes ignited by a lantern flare.
