Noted inventor and aviator Wilbur Wright dies after illness credited to typhoid fever. Reports say Wright had been ill for weeks and passed away at his home. The aviation pioneer leaves behind his brother Orville Wright and a legacy in flight development.
Dayton reports Wilbur Wright, famed aviator and co inventor of the Wright brothers aircraft, died of typhoid fever. He was born in 1876 at Millville Indiana and along with Orville pursued aerial navigation, achieving groundbreaking flights and transforming travel and warfare.
J W Chamberlain sues Shreveport Gas Electric Light and Power Co in District Court seeking 10400 in damages after a January explosion on Texas street wrecked his case and fixtures. He claims natural gas leaks caused the blast, wrecking his business with 3500 property loss 2400 lost profits 2500 loss of goodwill and a canceled lease. The lease would have renewed at 125 per month but now requires a new lease at 250 per month.
