Asheville May 17 A Foreign Mission Board report shows South Baptists decline a union with other denominations for overseas work. They oppose territorial division of missions and inter church letter exchanges, urge sole control and alignment with New Testament principles, and affirm a strong, self supporting missionary program. The board notes a record year with 6,471 converts, 77 new arches, 315,123 men and 182 women in missions, 2,630 foreign members, 402 Sunday schools, 452 mission schools, 74,866 medical patients served, and 10 dispensaries.
