Charles L. Horne Jr., 68, longtime Shreveport resident and former president of the Louisiana Police Jury Association, died after a long illness. He served on the Caddo Parish Police Jury 33 years, ran a real estate business, and held leadership roles including LPJA president and recipient of the Mike Scanlon Award. Services Friday at St. John's Catholic Church. Survived by his widow, two sons, one sister, and six grandchildren.
