Plans for a grand prize Easter egg hunt were announced by Captain Roberts. The event will feature four age groups for girls and boys, with ages seven to fifteen for girls and similar divisions for others, contingent on good weather conditions to ensure a successful hunt.

Prisoners Taken to Angola Penitentiary

Four prisoners who pleaded guilty in district court were sent to the Angola penitentiary Wednesday by Ouachita Park sheriff's department. Bruce Vallery was jailed for robbery of $12. Leo Lawson, one year. Jesse Wagner, forgery, one year. Leroy Wil negro, forgery, one year. a check protector valued at one year.

Missouri Pacific Booster Club Plans March Booster Party

The Missouri Pacific Women's club announces a booster party at the Ouachita avenue club house on Thursday March 30. Events include community singing directed by Mrs. George Moffett, a glockenspiel solo by Miss Laura Louise Patton, violin solos by Fred Rosenbaum, and a Professor Quiz stunt. Helen Martin from the Missouri Pacific advertising department will deliver the address followed by a social hour.

Inheritance Tied to Jewish Marriage in Chicago Will

Adele Gay, a 32 year old Chicago hospital clerk, must marry a Jewish man within a year to inherit up to 70 000 dollars from her father Harris Goldman. The will bets one seventh of a 300 000 to 500 000 dollar estate on her adherence to his faith. a failure or a non Jewish marriage cuts the bequest to five dollars. Goldman died aged 90 last Sunday in Elgin Illinois.

Citizenship denied to draft dodger in World War I case

Bert Van Apeldoorn, 44, born in Holland and a Rochester carpenter, was denied US citizenship after he refused to bear arms during World War I. Supreme Court Justice William F. Love rejected his naturalization application, citing his draft exemption claim.

Center Holds Costume Show at Northeast Center
