In Merriman Nebraska an unidentified gunman killed George Mensinger aged about 30 his wife 24 and neighbor Dee Gardner about 50 at a ranch five miles south of town early today The Mensingers ten month old son and another neighbor Cliff McDonald about 35 were wounded The slayer fled in a car prompting roadblocks across Northwestern Nebraska and six planes to search The motive was not determined.
