Mrs. J. W. Jackson died at her Grayling home yesterday morning at 10 30. She leaves her husband and four children three sons and one daughter. Her death is deemed untimely after a brief illness. Rev. Frank Tripp of First Baptist conducted the funeral at the home yesterday afternoon at 3 30. The body will be buried in Meridian Mississippi, her former home.

David Gayle Trousdale a Monroe pioneer and longtime merchant died at his residence at 6 this morning after a ten day illness. He was 65 and leaves a widow two sons and two daughters along with three brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the family home with burial in Monroe cemetery.
