Church and club notices fill West Monroe week

The week's calendar lists Baptist Ladies Aid meeting Tuesday at 4 p m at the Baptist church and the Young Womans Methodist Auxiliary in the Sunshine Library. Other gatherings include the West Side Home Mission Society Wednesday at 3 30 p m and the West Side Young Matrons Embroidery Club event hosted by Mrs J B Dozier Friday.

Town Council Meets in Special Session June 24 1913

West Monroe Louisiana in a special session the mayor and board of aldermen discussed the Trenton ferry bids. Bids were read and referred to the town attorney for report at the next regular meeting. Advisors' report adopted and recorded. Present: Benson Eby Sutcliff Dozier Franton. Absent: Browning.
